YouPlay, a dynamic initiative co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme, is dedicated to empowering youth NGOs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and competencies of young people. The goal is to ignite their sense of initiative and foster active citizenship, contributing to a vibrant, democratic society.

Project Objectives
YouPlay is driven by four key objectives:
Empowering Youth Citizenship: Enhance the citizenship skills of young people, encouraging their democratic participation and engagement in societal processes.
Innovative Tools for Youth Engagement: Develop and provide new methodologies and tools for youth workers and organizations to effectively engage young generations, valorizing their contributions and driving social change.
Promoting SDGs: Stimulate discussion on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the EU, generating concrete proposals for their implementation.
Strengthening Network Cooperation: Foster synergistic cooperation within the network, supporting the creation and implementation of impactful youth policies.
Expected Outcomes
The project aims to achieve the following outcomes:
Educational Game on Active Participation and SDGs: Development and testing of an innovative educational game designed to enhance understanding and engagement with active participation and the SDGs, both within and beyond the project consortium.
Digital Platform: Creation of a comprehensive digital platform extending the educational game and offering a wide array of resources for youth and youth workers focused on active participation.
Policy Recommendations and Adaptation Guide: Formulation of policy recommendations and an adaptation guide to transform approaches in promoting youth engagement.
Additional Initiatives
Youth Participation Research: Conduct research on the state of youth participation in the participating countries and among TDM International's members across Europe and beyond.
International Training and Seminars: Organize an international training course for 16 youth workers to develop the educational game and an international seminar for 21 youth workers to test and learn the new methodology.
Dissemination and Impact
The project’s results will be shared with stakeholders through seven national dissemination conferences in each partner country, targeting at least 200 participants. Additionally, various dissemination events are planned to broaden the project's reach and impact.
YouPlay commenced in April 2022 and is set to run for 24 months.
