The outcomes of the EcoShift Erasmus+ project were actively disseminated to ensure that the project’s impact extended well beyond the training activity held in Madeira, Portugal. Through structured dissemination actions, the knowledge, tools, and non-formal education methodologies developed during the project were shared with wider target groups, reinforcing the project’s long-term educational and societal value.
The EcoShift project focused on promoting sustainable daily practices, climate awareness, and a deeper understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These themes were central to the dissemination efforts, ensuring that the project’s results remained accessible, relevant, and transferable to different learning environments and communities.
As part of the follow-up phase, a dedicated dissemination activity was organised at the University of Malta, where project outcomes, good practices, and innovative educational approaches were presented to students and educators. This activity aimed to raise awareness on sustainability-related issues, encourage environmentally responsible behaviours, and highlight the added value of non-formal education methodologies within formal and academic settings.

In addition to local dissemination, the project also achieved transnational impact through the exchange of methodologies among partner organisations during the NGO fair organised as part of the EcoShift programme. This collaborative exchange enabled participating organisations to replicate, adapt, and implement EcoShift approaches within their own local contexts, further strengthening cross-border cooperation on sustainability education.
Through these dissemination efforts, the EcoShift project ensured the transferability of results, maximised its educational reach, and directly supported the Erasmus+ objective of fostering sustainable development through learning, collaboration, and active participation.
