On the 7th of June 2025, TDM 2000 Malta held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together members to reflect on the organisation’s activities and impact over the past year, while laying the groundwork for an exciting year ahead.
This Annual General Meeting was extra special, as it is in commemoration of TDM 2000 Malta's 20 year anniversary. Under the helm of Duncan Muscat, for the past 20 years, the organisation has grown from a small idea to a major force in youth representation in Malta. The AGM featured the President’s Report, Philanthropic, Media and Communications, International, and Events Report, each highlighting the milestones, projects, and challenges faced throughout the term.
The AGM provided members with the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion, ask questions, and celebrate the collective work that continues to drive the organisation forward.
A new Executive Board was elected, comprising passionate and driven individuals ready to continue TDM 2000 Malta’s mission of empowering young people and creating impactful change both locally and internationally. The new team is as follows:
Duncan Muscat – President
Julia Zammit Galea Testaferrata – Vice President
Eman Borg – Secretary General
Sara Lee Bonavia – Treasurer
Sam Delia – Events Officer
Celeste Tan Panza – Liaison Officer
Sara Scarano – International Officer
Amy Calleja – International Officer
Shahed Bensaid – Philanthropic Officer
The newly elected board brings a fresh wave of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment, a continuation of the previous 20 years of TDM. TDM 2000 Malta extends its heartfelt thanks to all members who attended the AGM and contributed to a productive and engaging session. As always, the organisation remains committed to promoting active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and youth empowerment through a variety of local and international projects.
Stay tuned for what’s next!
