Y.E. Storytime - Preparatory Visit

Project: Y.E. STORYTIME! Type: Preparatory Visit Topic: Theatre as a Tool for Intercultural Learning Where: Pisa, Italy When: 21st August - 23rd August 2024 Spots available: 1 Group Leader (18+ years, no age limit - to go to both the preparatory visit and exchange in Pisa) Participating Countries: Italy, Malta, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Cyprus, Czechia, Lithuania

The person chosen will get the opportunity to represent their country in this project on 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 the preparatory visit and the exchange, and will collaborate with other like-minded individuals on activities involving theatre methods to explore concepts of identity, diversity, and multicultural society. Participants will learn about body expression, choreography, movements in space, voice, interaction on stage, and much more, using both traditional practices and digital tools.

The project aims to: - Raise awareness of intercultural learning and diversity using national stories, myths, and legends. - Enhance European values such as mutual understanding, tolerance, and active citizenship. - Develop high-quality original content that fosters community building. - Explore theatre as a tool that promotes inclusion, tolerance, and intercultural learning.

Accommodation and food at the venue are FULLY COVERED. Travel costs amounting to €275 will be fully REIMBURSED.
